Day 2: Magic Transport

Liziba Station (李子坝站)

The famous light rail station located *inside* a residential apartment building (Line 2).

A hipster arts district in an old money printing factory. Great views of the city.

Ancient porcelain port town. Crowded but full of snacks and tea houses.

3. Transportation

Arrival

  • Air: Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (CKG). Line 10 (Express): The fastest route. Take it from T2 or T3 to Hongtudi Station, then transfer to Line 6 to reach Xiaoshizi (Jiefangbei). Line 3 (Monorail): Slower and more scenic, but crowded. Connects T2 directly to the city.Check flights viaTrip.com

The "8D" Navigation

  • Maps: Often confusing. 1st floor of one building might be the 11th of another. Ask locals.
  • Metro/Monorail: Best way to get around. Taxis get stuck in traffic.
  • Walking: Be prepared to climb many stairs.

Across the river, offers the best view of the skyline.

  • Elevators: If you see a button for the 1st floor and you are on the 10th, you might walk out onto a street on the 10th floor too.
  • Spice Tolerance: Bring stomach medicine if you are not used to heavy chili oil.
